    Users thrown offline in 3.5.2

Under Cookie and HTTP header options there is a setting for how long in seconds a user can be online before unread posts are marked as read.

Default number seems to be 600 seconds.

I got a user complaint this morning that he would sign on then go away to write a post in Word. Upon returning he was thrown offline and had to re- sign in.

It seems this setting about marking posts as read also throws people who have not selected "remember me" offline. This didn't exist in the 3.0.x series as far as I know. Could it be changed so it just marked the posts as read rather than throwing people offline also ?

I think thats his pc problem, as that cookie timeout is for the users online, as 900 is default.

Thought I'd bump this back up as I've gotten several new complaints. Users are being logged off despite having checked the remember me box. This seems to be a function of time online and was never mentioned by any user in vers 3.0.x, just since upgrade to 3.5.x

I've never been able to duplicate this problem with the Remember me checked. Have you tried logging in as one of these users to see if you can duplicate this?
