    Upload of file failed

I just upgraded my forum to VB 3.5.2, and uploads seemed to be working last night.

However this morning when I went to add an attachment I got the following message:

    "Upload of file failed."

    -----------------------------------

    file_uploads: On
    open_basedir: None
    safe_mode: Off
    upload_tmp_dir: None
    upload_max_filesize: 2.00 MB

    Help
    Results
No file uploaded and no local file found. The test cannot continue.

I'm on a Linux box running PHP 4.3.11

Though it's probably not related, I was unaware of the profile picture issue and all the profile pics are gone from the upgrade, but it still wants to apply them to the users. How do I clear them out, so that the users can reupload their profile pics?

    Thanks!

This is almost certainly a server issue. You or your host will need to create a rooot /tmp directory on this server, chmod it to 777, then edit php.ini to point to that directory. You may also need to restart the web server for this change to take affect.

You need to ask your host to do this.
