How do I stop parsing of BB code?

Right now on my current version I hacked it so function handle_bbcode_img($bbcode, $dobbimagecode) does not work unless you are a certain user group, to stop trolls.

Now with 3.5 this is gone. I can't update until I find where this code is now.

What file is the parsing of the IMG tag in now???????

Sorry, we do not support customizing source code. Check with vBulletin.org for support on this.

It doesn't work because it is not a default feature as far as I know. The code between 3.0 and 3.5 has changed quite a bit.

You could perhaps update the posts by certain usergroups by surrounding it with the bbcode [noparse] ... .[/noparse].

Maybe easier to code in.

Aren't plugins supported here? Someone at vb.org said I could use a plugin to do this. That's not customizing the software. How do I setup a plugin to not allow certain user groups IMG tags to be parsed?

No, plugins are supported by whoever made it over at vbulletin.org, either by request or just by releasing it over there. Only thing supported here is vBulletin alone.

plugins are a feature from vb, we give support for that feature.
we do not give support for the custom code that we did not write, but was written by people from vborg.
