Welcome, user not showing

Hi all, I'm brand new to vbulletin, so bear with me. When users log in, the Welcome, whoever/last visited/pm info is not showing in the top right corner. They still see the log in info.

Also, when trying to post, users can see the Title and Post Icons boxes, but no Message box. Could this be because it's not showing that they're logged in?

Any ideas? I've searched the boards and am trying to find something in the manual, but no luck.

Did you just do a fresh install of 3.5.2? Or upgrade from another version? Did you run into any errors during install?

We installed fresh from 3.5.1 and haven't upgraded, but had no problems with the install. Might the problem be fixed if I upgrade to 3.5.2?

I suspect the .xml files were not properly imported, might be causing template glitches or phrase glitches.

Upgrade will indeed fix known bugs and re-imports the XML files too.

Have you customized any of your templates?
