    quickreply posting

    hello,

i've upgraded yesterday my forum 3.0x to 3.5.2 without problem.

but when i post quickreply in thread, its waiting several seconds & minutes etc. and not posting.

this problem only quickreply, normal New reply is fine.

First, try refreshing your cache, using Ctrl + F5. If that doesn't work, add a new Style and select 'No Parent Style'. This will force it to use the default templates. Switch to this Style and see if the error still occurs.

Try turning off AJAX in your vBulletin Options, or alternately adding a new language with the character set UTF-8.

sorry for incorrect info i found the problem, my forum uses iso-8859-9 . But when i change this to iso-8859-1 , current thread titles, messages etc.. characters does not show correct turkish words. (like: ı)

turkish characters no problem with iso-8859-1 and ajax works fine.

            how do i fix this?

I believe that you will need to install IconV on your server to fix this as per this announcement:

vBulletin 3.5.1 vBulletin 3.0.10 vBulletin 2.3.8 The original purpose of this release was to provide a regular, scheduled bug-fix / service release for the new 3.5.x series, but newly discovered flaws in Internet Explorer and PHP have necessitated a security release for all three vBulletin branches. The first flaw is in

              IconV use where available
If IconV is installed on your server (which we strongly recommend) vBulletin will now use its character set conversion abilities rather than relying on its own for AJAX-submitted data. This is of special interest to boards running with non-latin characters such as Chinese, Arabic etc.
