Usergroup icon on WOL and Memberlist pages

in my postbit template I have the following conditional that displays a small icon next to user names who are a member of a custom user group.

<if condition="is_member_of($post,10)">
<img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/group_icon.gif" border="0"></if> 

It works great and now I also want the icon shown on the who's online and member list pages but can't seem to get it working.

I modified the whosonlinebit template and used the same conditional except with $userinfo instead of $post but it does not work. Same problem with the memberlist.

how can I achieve this?

I tested this in the memberlist_resultsbit template and it worked. Are you still having the problem?

It appears that group information is not available to the whosonlinebit template, so there is no way to check group memberships in that template. You would have to use custom PHP code in the form of a plugin or file hack. For help with this I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org.

Thanks Jake. I got them both working. I got memberlist_resultbit with no code hacks and I got whosonlinebit working by adding user.usergroupid, user.membergroupids to the query on line 185 of online.php
