    Format Message Box Text

Ok.....this is a bit off topic, but I've tried searching on Google, looking in SourceForge, DevShed, etc., but I haven't found anywhere that could give me some insight on how to format text like you can here in this Message Field. With PHP or Javascript...or both?

Basically, the form I am building will create/edit magazine articles to be placed on the web. And the body of these articles often have bold and italiciazed words. I can do that with HTML code, but I'd like it if the non-HTML people in the office can bold a word in this form I built.

ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's called WYSIWYG, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wysiwyg . You need very good knowledge in both php and javascript to do something like this. I hear even integrating vbulletin's own wysiwyg into hacks is difficult.

Thanks, Danny! I'll poke around to see if I can find...or make...something a bit more stripped down that the VB style WYSIWYG form option. Cheers!
