Trying to upgrade to 3.5.2

I get this error message during the upgrade, and i am sure my config.php is correct.

Attempting to attach to database
Connect failed: unexpected error from the database.
Error number: 1046
Error description: No Database Selected
Please ensure that the database and server is correctly configured and try again.

Now my board just shows a database error??

I fixed the error, i wasnt using the new comfig.php, but now i am getting this error during the upgrade..

We have detected that you have already tried to run the upgrade script. You will not be able to proceed unless you revert to a vB 2.2.x/2.3.x database.

What version are you trying to upgrade from?
