problem staying logged in

all of my admin have this problem where when they refresh the forum and make a post, they have to log in again......

it used to run fine with 3.0.x

i have changed the template check remember me box my default
so i don't understand what the problem is

one thing i can think of is that i have also turned my session.use_trans_sid to OFF for PHP; would this make any difference?

Are you using any plugins/modifications/hacks?

Such problems tend to be linked to these.

Have you changed your cookie settings?

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Options

May wish to check those details are correct, and check the timeout.

I've got something similiar. A number of Firefox users who are not using the remember me, the cookie seems to expire too quickly. It's set to 900seconds and it works fine for IE as I've had time to test using that, but reports are coming from my users that in Firefox if you don't use remember me the cookie expires really quickly.

the cookie settings are all fine

i tried on various browser and computer
and they have seem to have the problem sometimes...

even sometimes in admincp...it just kicks the admin out

i have the checkbox remember me selected by default
Why is this unchecked by default now in the first place?!?!!?
its not like its a bank account

getting tired of these constant pointless feature upgrade like ajax and no fixes for problems =(
