User uploaded avatars do not show on posts

I have the same problem since upgrading to 3.5.1. My users can use the avatars I loaded into vBulletin but when a user uploads a custom avatar it shows up in his control panel but not in his posts. The only thing I can find that looks odd to me is that all the images in the customavatars directory have gif extensions even though most are jpg.

I followed your advice above and got no errors with the test upload.

I then turned on Public phpinfo() Display

    My forums are at http://motorcyclephilippines.com/forums/

    Please help.

    Thanks

To troubleshoot this, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

      Thanks

I dont have any hacks. Just simple changes to add the banners and logo.

This looks like a big job for someone like me with no expertise in this area so I may have to just leave it as it is for now rather than risk even bigger problems.
