    WYSIWYG and smiley problems

on our forums there is a problem with the simys...

enter one on reply mode and use the <- arrow button to try and get behind it...you cant.(unless you use the mouse) However you can use backspace to delete it. How can we get around this problem?

    thanks!

Sorry, I don't understand. Do you have the same problem here?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

sorry steve, ill try to be a bit more clear...

add a smily into the message box..then try to use the <- arrow key on your keyboard to get to the left hand side of it, (say for example you wanted to add some text)the curser will not move. just sits there...

the problem exists on this forum aswell, so im *guessing* its a VB bug..

      thanks for your time

I cannot duplicate this problem. Which browser are you using?

Sorry, I still cannot duplicate this problem. Try removing any FF extensions.

I can replicate this..... I have no plug-ins installed.

When using the wysiwyg editor in firefox, it seems that you can't use the arrow keys to move the caret when the cursor would take you from one side of ANY image... to another. As an example:-

              1 2

In firefox, if the cursor is flashing at position 2... you cannot move it (using the arrow keys) to position 1 and vice versa.

I strongly suspect this a firefox issue... and not vBulletin.... however, you never know
