  • Adding Graphics + Moving threads after the Subscription ends

    Can someone tell me how to add a small graphics under the user title and above the user avatar for subscribed users?

    Also, the subscribers that I will use for my forum will basically be making donations for additional features. I'm guessing that if they're regular members I can then change their titles to "Supporting Member" instead of "Regular Member". The problem with this is what if our moderators or vendors have decided to make the subcription? What would the title show?

    Also, currently I'm offering vendor status for vendors to post deals on our vendor forum, and this process is currently done manually and its very labor intensive. It's hard to keep track of all the vendors so I'm thinking about using the subscription system. What happens when someone subscribes to a thread? Will the admin be notified of the subscription? Also, after the subscription ends, is there a way to remove all of their threads from the forum?

    As far as pricing goes, I currently offer tiered pricing where the longer they sign up, the cheaper it is. This is done through paypal and I offer a slight discount for people who make the payment upfront. For example, a 3 month campaign could be $100 a month, or $285 if paid upfront, and a 1 year campaign could be $80 a month, or $900 a year. How can I still offer this incentive through the subscription system?

    Also, what happens when people sign up for 2 different subscriptions? For example, if a vendor wanted the vendor status and also the supporting member sign?

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> -> Postbit Templates -> postbit or postbit_legacy (depending on which layout you are using)

    Use this code where you want the graphic to appear:

    Code:
    <if condition="is_member_of($post, X)">
    	<img src="path/to/image.gif" alt="Subscriber" border="0" />
    </if>
    Where X is the usergroupid of the subscriber group. Change the image path appropriately.

    The moderator's title would also change. You might consider using a secondary group for subscribers. The secondary group will not change any titles, but it will make the postbit conditional (above) true so the subscriber image is displayed in addition to the user title.

    You can make a paid subscription that adds users to a group that has access to the vendor forum. This is similar to this thread.

    Later in this paragraph you appear to be talking about thread subscriptions instead of paid subscriptions. I'm not sure what you are wanting here.

    When creating a new paid subscription you can specify multiple pricing schemes (cost versus length).

    Use secondary groups for both subscriptions so they don't overlap.
