Why does it tell me this ..

when I click Find all posts or threads by a user in there profile, and it said it when I was deleting a thread also:


"vBulletin Message

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Possibly your forums are set to not be searchable?
Check your forum settings on one of the forums this member posted in.

It says in the vBulletin Options

Allow searching for posts and threads within the forums. This is a relatively server-intensive process so you may want to disable it if you have problems.

To disable searching of all forums, delete the option from the searchintro template.

and its checked as yes, but also says to disable searching of all forums delete the option from the searchintro template, i went to my search templates and there wasnt no searchintro..or is this template found somewhere else ?

I am having the same problem. I thought rebuilding the serach undex might help remove this problem. But I am not sure as it is still rebuilding the search index.

Check the options in the settings for each forum.
