    how do i remove Powered by VBulletin from my site title on the home page?

    You would edit the {1}- Powered by Vbulletin phrase, however I have no idea if you are permitted to remove that from the header without the branding free license. Maybe someone from support could come and clarify this .

      To remove the copyright notice, you must pay for the Branding Free license.

            i found that piece of code, deleted it, now i have no page title at all...
            this happens to me every single time i try to play tech.

            i'm never trying to do anything myself ever again.,
            now i have to pay someone to fix it.

              Don't pay anyone it would be a waste of money . Just go back to that phrase and hit the copy default text button and hit save. If you completely destroy a template or phrase there is always a way to revert.

                thanks, but no thanks..
                the only thing i will touch anymore are selectable boxes for yes and no.
                i am not a tech, nor do i care to learn how to be one..
                let me rephrase that...
                i will not touch code again...
                thanks for your time.

                  To get rid of the title, copy the original phrase and just remove everything but

                  {1}

                  Its not vital code, it won't ruin your forum by changing this peice, if you get it wrong you can always translate it back.

                    thanks bro, but i don't even know what i deleted now or where it was...
                    i have someone handling it for me now..
                    i just need to stick to switches and numbers and stuff...
                    every time i try to touch code, even with guidance, i screw something up...
                    better to be safe than sorry.
                    thanks for your time.

It's funny you say you don't know where you were or what you were doing when it happened.. lololololololol I'm 2 steps away from posting that same comment.

                        these guys really do try to help, but i just don't get the tech talk a lot of times....i guess you need to be more qualified than i am, to use the support, to an extent...i'm finding it best just to have a paid guy on staff now...done deal.
