Forum search engine ...
I'm guessing I'm not understanding something about how the search engine works ... forum users are wanting to be able to search for a phrase, or at least more than just one "keyword". When, for example, someone types whole wheat bread into the search field, the return lists all posts that contain the word "whole", all posts containing the word "wheat", and all posts containing the word "bread". Putting the phrase in quotes doesn't seem to solve the problem. Is it possible to search by "phrase"?Tags: None

If you have Full text and Boolean enabled, you can put the search phrase in quotes and click on the Boolean option.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

If you are running MySQL4 you can change to fulltext searching here:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Search Type
After that you can set the Boolean search option in the Usergroup settings.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
