  • Collapsing forums does not work

    http://www.britboards.com/index.php

If you click on a forum collapse image, it just disappears and does not collapse the forums. We have not installed any hacks as of yet. Any ideas?

    Thank you.

      Doesn't help.

vBulletin, anyone have any ideas? A search on this forum show a few people who have had this exact same problem but no resolution has been posted.

      Thank you.

To troubleshoot this, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

          I did all that: http://www.britboards.com/?styleid=3

          The problem still persists.

Other 3.5.1 forum installs on the same server work fine. Strange, huh?

          Any ideas?

Hey, I'm also working on this issue with thegunowner, and it has me stumped.

I did, however, discover that when you click on the forum category, it doesn't list anything.

Instead of listing the main forums in the category and all of the subforums, it lists no forums at all.

              any help would be appreciated.

For curiosity sake, I exported a style from a working board and imported it to this board. It no longer functions properly.

If you have not installed any plugins or hacks (which includes portals), fill out a support ticket at:

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP. Please also include a complete description of the problem.
