Can Admin post on someone elses behalf

Just curious if it is possible for Admin to post using someone elses username?

I'm starting up again forum, and I want the members to join themselves because of email validation, but I want to be able to put up threat that they did for them, is it possible?

Not a standard feature. You need a hack for this.
