Thread/Forum Read Marking Type Problem

I want to set the marking type to Database (automatic) but the ACP will not allow me to. The bullet item is not greyed out but when I click on it, the Database (non-automatic) option get selected instead.

Is there something else I need to enable to get this working?

Which versions of PHP and MySQL are you running? Have you installed any hacks or plugins?

PHP version 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1.13

I have vbadvanced cmps 2.0 installed and the pm notification on join requests (see other thread).

This problem was there before either of those was installed though and I can easily uninstall them if need be.

Set up a fresh test forum with all the original vB files and templates. Then if you can reproduce this problem on that forum, let me know. If not, then this will show that the problem is related to one or more changes you made.

I setup a fresh install of vb in a new directory and a seperate clean database. The problem is still there.

Got half way through writing up a ticket and decided to try using IE to access the ACP instead of firefox. Guess what... It works. Seems it's a compatability problem with FF not allowing you to check the third radio button.

Do you have any FF extensions installed. Some extensions do cause problems.

FF 1.5 with no extensions installed.
