SQL error

the forum was working fine then i check back 10 minutes later and i get this email...

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

This error means either MySQL crashed, it's not running or it can't find the socket. You need to contact your host about this. Here is more info on this error:

I have the same problem too for last 2 days..

I saw that link but there are lot of informations.. I have root access to the server.. Is there any shortcut that I can fix this problem ? Thx..

Try restarting MySQL.
