  • Making vBulletin the "Login" of the site

    Hi there,

We'd like to utilize vBulletin's database as a way for users to "Login" into the site as well as be logged in vBulletin to post messages.

For example, in order for a user to participate outside of the forums such as casting user reviews and casting votes on voting polls on the site (outside of vbulletin), the user must register and login to vBulletin in order to do this.

Currently we have the Login/Registration page up:

As you can see, the register button is linked to vBulletin and we're trying to get the Login to sync up with vBulletin -- is this possible? In other words, the user must be logged into vBulletin in order to utilize other features outside of vBulletin.

I hope this isn't confusing in what we're trying to do. Thank you for your help!

The place for help with this would be over at the mod site:
Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
