    Vbulletin & Mambo TAKE 2

    Hi all,
    Just added Vbulletin as the default forum for the recently upgraded site i administrate.
    Found a couple of problems with the user database integration.

    1) when users sign on to the main site, then click logout, it reffers them to the forum to log out, this message is displayed
    "vBulletin Message
    An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out"

    Is there a way of changing that message to read a custom message of mine?

    If not then is there a way to bypass that screen completely and just sign them out instead of going through and having to view that screen?

    Im also getting the problem in a slightly different way again,
    When users sign on via the forums it redirects the users to the main site once logged in instead of letting them go back to the forums main page.

    Hope all this make sense,
    If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks guys

    You need to revert or patch the templates that contain logout links. See the template change log in this thread:

    Added &u=$bbuserinfo[userid] to any log out links to ensure that no one else can log many people out with an image.

    Requires revert? Yes!
    Regarding the redirection URL, see this thread. Or you can add a redirection URL to any login form in the templates by adding this hidden field:

    Code:
    <input type="hidden" name="url" value="[color=red]URL[/color]" />

      Thanks Jake,

      But im still uncertain on which file(s) i need to edit.
      Ive read the URL's and the method makes sense, but they dont go into mentioning file(s) names.
      If you could help it would be great.

        No file edits are required. Just edit the HTML in the templates:

        Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « »

          Thanks again Jake,

          When i go in to that section, and click on those 2 arrows, it opens up a menu in the admincp that has about 100-200 files to pick from, any ideas where to look?

          THANKS AGAIN

            What pages do you want to edit?

            You can find out which templates are being used by enabling this option:

            Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Add Template Name in HTML Comments

            Now template names will be in the source code of all forum pages.
