New Zend Engine string handling

Apologies for the double post, but this is quite important:


Is vBulletin 3.0 affected by the new Zend Engine 2 string handling?

We are upgrading to PHP 5.1 as soon as it comes out because we need ZE2 for some of our apps. Is vBulletin 3.0 (or 3.5) affected by these issues?

5.1 will only deprecate the usage of curly braces for string position references. vBulletin has instances of both and they will be cleaned up but you have nothing to worry about as curly braces will continue to work until at least PHP 6, according to Rasmus.
