    unread_x_nav_compiled

Not sure what's going on but when I do a phrase search for unread_x_nav_compiled it returns no matches??

unread_x_nav_compiled is taken from $vbphrase[unread_x_nav_compiled] on FORUMHOME.

    Thanks.

Same here, except for me it shows up in the navbar template.) Looks like either an error, or something to be used for a future version.

Anyone know how to edit this var??? All I need is the number and not the 'unread'.

Back to this same problem.... Where does this value get computated?

Would like to set up a plugin to sum up the actual PMS in the table and not some precompiled number. Would also like to change the wording.

As I said this does not appear to be a functioning value at this time.

has to be functioning somehow b/c it's displaying on FORUMHOME template.

Where does the computation for total number of pms get calculated?

Thx... that helped with finding in vbphrases... So where does the actual computation occur that totals the number of PMs for a user?

It's a cached value in the user table, calculated when a PM is sent/received.
