  • vBulletin Integration

Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I thought I would give it a shot.

I am running quite a few scripts on my site & what I am trying to accomplish is a universal registration\login\subscription for the entire site. Most of which are integrated with vBulletin already.I am pretty new to php so bare with me. I was under the impression that as long as scripts were located in the same directory they could share a session with some coding.

Would it be possible to have vBulletin installed on my root instead of a sub with the other scripts installed in sub directories & have all of this run from VB if users were being created in each of the databases during registration in VB?

It doesn't have to be in the same directory. This thread shows how to make a basic vB-integrated page for 3.0.x. There is probably a similar hack for 3.5.x over there. Notice the chdir command you can use if the script is outside of the forum directory.

If you have further questions about this then I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org.
