  • The old "Browse Board with Cookies" option

Is it safe to assume that the "Remember Me" box in the login area replaces the old option in the user's profile that they could check "browse with cookies"?

I have hundreds of users that work in the same organizatoin and am having some problems with them posting under each other's handles. Used to be that they could select the browse with cookies option (also clickable by admins in the ACP) and it fixed the problem.

Now I'm not sure what to do.

      1. Is there a way that I can have the remember me box checked by default?
      2. Not sure how it works, but it looks like it's not checked when a user registers and is automatically logged in the initial visit. I've had several people register and have one of the co-workers post under their handle within minutes. (Needless to say, this is a little unnerving to our new members and reflects poorly on our site)

I'm a retard, I'm running 3.5. I must have posted in this forum in error when I was searching the board for answers.
