  • Find Hash Info

    I am making a logout page outside of the main forums, what do I need to put.
    Such as this is what I used to find forum id
    PHP Code:
    $userid=$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'
    I just need one for the hash info when someone logs out

    Anyone have any ideas?

        Is there any chance to get that logouthash "out" of the vb system, I need to create a logout link on a non-vb page, but doesn't seem to work out without the hash.

          I am sure it is possible to remove it, but it would likely require modifying the files. I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org about this.

            No, I don't want to remove it, but to create the logouthash outside of vb. I found this:
            Code:
            // set the logout hash
                $user['logouthash'] = md5($user['userid'] . $user['salt'] . COOKIE_SALT);
            in functions.php. The cookie_salt is my license number, according to a post at vbulletin.org. Still, can't get the right hash that way.

              Ah, stupid me, didn't include the right stuff in the md5(). Works now!
