  • Paid Subscriptions

    Hi,

    I have just set up paid subscriptions, but.. how do i as i have added text to header template to pay for more features, how do I set this to not show on certain usergroups please?

  • #2
    Code:
    <if condition="$bbuserinfo[usergroupid] != # AND $bbuserinfo[usergroupid] != #">
    your text
    </if>
    Change the #s in the above code to the usergroups it should not display for (add more "AND $bbuserinfo[usergroupid] != #"s in there if you have more than 2 usergroups it should not display for), and put the text that you want to show to everyone EXCEPT the usergroups you entered in place of 'your text'

                More Problems

                When user becomes paid, the subscriptions manager makes paid a secondary usergroup, this doesnt seem to overwrite user rank to example "Supporting Member"

                  Try this

                  Code:
                   <if condition="!is_member_of($bbuserinfo, IDOFGOLDGROUP)">
                  Message for those who aren't Gold
                  </if>
                  Haven't test this... but should work

                          I got it hiding usergroups but when paid subscriptions make a free to paid it sets it as a secondary group.. so i need to also have if to make a secondary group not see it.. other problems i get are user titles say tfh newbie.. when you go paid it changes to i am a supporter or something.. this does not work either with gold being set as a secondary group by the subscriptions..

                          I hope that helps
