    I did that originally with the current templates and the quick reply shows up now, but the drop down to select the vb skin doesn't show up at all..

    there is no option showing up to select it from the forum footer.

    Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Dropdown: Add Child Style.

    Let it load, from parent dropdown, select: NONE

    Call it '3.5.0 default style', and submit the form.

    It will now show in the style manager. And in your forum you can now select it from the footer.

    In your AdminCP on the top left you go to vBulletin options. Look for "Messege Posting and Editing Options".

    Its in there...
