  • New posts aren't really new....

Bassically, it's working like 3.0.X. If I say, post in forum X, and I go back to the index, it will say the thread is new...or well...unread.

I know that's how it was designed in 3.0.X, but this was "fixed" in 3.5 wasn't it? Ive been meaning to ask this but haven't had time.

    Help?

It's fixed, but you still have to select which method you want to use in your vBulletin Options.
Most likely you still have the old option set.

        Goto your

        AdminCP > vBulletin Options >
General Settings > Thread/Forum Read Marking Type

Edit: no idea what I was thinking there...

try admincp -> vbulletin options -> general settings

set "Thread/Forum Read Marking Type" to "Database (automatic forum marking)"
