  • How Do I....

    place this www.supaleague.com/vblogo.html

    into my header template?.. I know the header template has to be changed... but where does it go in here?

    Code:

    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
     <td align="center"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->
    <!-- content table -->
    $spacer_open
    $_phpinclude_output

    Code:

    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
     <td align="center"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]">
    [COLOR=red]<img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" />[/COLOR]</a></td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->
    <!-- content table -->
    $spacer_open
    $_phpinclude_output
    Theres a few ways to do this:

    1) Keep the default header code, and upload your new logo into the file system (i.e. /forum/images/newlogo.gif). Go into AdminCP,StyleManager, and then "Site Vars". Update the textbox called "Title Image" to point to your new logo. Your new logo will appear on the top.

    2) As first way, but instead of uploading a new file, overwrite "images/misc/vbulletin3_logo_white.gif" with your new logo image.

    3) Change the red highlighted code above so the source points to the location you've uploaded your site logo too.

    4) Change the header code completely. Putting your own HTML. Possibly put the image within a table. The only "essential" code from the default code you need to keep is "$spacer_open and $_phpinclude_output". If you use tables remember to use the variable "$stylevar[outertablewidth]" as the table width.

    Hope that makes sense. Reply if your not clear on anythign....

      it makes sense, but the links or the rollovers wont be active, if you notice by clicking on that link, it has two active navigation buttons... if I just overwrite the misc logo file, it will only show as a single image.

      understand what I'm saying?
