  • How do I query the database in phpinclude_start?

I was doing it in vb 3.0.x fine, but then I upgraded to 3.5 and several things stopped showing on the forums. All being items that requiring querying the mysql db before outputted. I saw that $DB_site-> was changed to $db-> and I changed them in phpinclude_start, but that still didn't work.

phpinclude_start no longer works in 3.5. You would need to add a plugin at the global_start hook.

I'm not really sure what you're referring to as I just installed 3.5 just a lil bit ago. I'll look it up I guess, but do you have any other information that may help?
