  • Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /www/htdocs/v075522/include

    Hello!

    I did an upgrade from 3.0.7 to 3.5 RC2 and I get this error when I try to start the user promotion manually.

    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /www/htdocs/v075522/includes/functions.php on line 4240

    The line contains:
    PHP Code:
    $vbulletin->db->unlock_tables();
    I changed it to:
    PHP Code:
    // $vbulletin->db->unlock_tables();
    but than I get:
    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /www/htdocs/v075522/includes/class_core.php on line 2399
    I don't know what do to.. My RC2 doesn't run the Cronjobs anymore
    That's the end of that!

            it seems NO ONE can provide with a solution to this.

            PS : i have done my homework of researching the forums. the 'fix' given does not work at all.
