New Follow Forum Moderation Rules not working (beta 4)

After upgrading my forum from beta 3 to beta 4, all usergroups were moderated. Okay... no biggie, maybe the upgrade didn't take care of it I'm thinking... well not only that, but the usergroup manager in the AdminCP won't let me change it (I can change it, but it does not save the change).

Any ideas?

Make sure you uploaded the new bitfields (includes/xml). Then run admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields . Now modify a usergroup to rebuild the cache.

Try this, courtesy of Floris:

Rebuild bitfields.
> admincp/index.php?do=buildbitfields

Rebuild usergroup cache.
> modify a single usergroup and just click save button

Cool, thanks. The buildbitfields thing seemed to do the trick. Just out of curiosity, any idea why it had to be done? I imagine it's going to be a support nightmare if everyone has to do that.

I also had a problem with the moderation being turned on in a general forum even when all the permissions/settings were set to no moderation. The fix suggested here seems to have fixed it.

Same problem, same fix.

This is an important bug that should be fixed directly at beta 4 install script.
