  • Your Board Info Public

Go to your main board page....in your browser click on
    VIEW...SOURCE....your board info is there...

Hidden forums are also there...you can see the title of
threads but not actually the thread posts...

All members can see it...I logged out and back in with
a registered user nic I made and it was there...

One of my members pointed it out to me...

    Interesting...

What 'board info' exactly? And there really isn't any way to see hidden forums in the page sourse if you do not have access to them. If you don't beliieve me, try the same thing here and tell me what hidden forums are on this site.

Where are the private forums? Your examples don't show them.

The tech from my server who transferred my server from my old server to
theirs could not access my bulletin files so got me to ftp
my bulletin files onto a public.html

I think this is my problem....I just looked and can see some
of my conversation with another admin in our admin forum
which is hidden on my main category page...

I can show you on a ticket (for my privacy's sake) if you want

Can ya help me fix this please??

I honestly don't know what you mean but feel free to start a support ticket. Please be patient though because I'm going to be taking a break.

And please include a complete description of what you are talking about so we can help.

I did NOT say you would not see that your name. I said you would not see any private information. Since your name - Curly27 - appears on this page, then of course it's also going to appear on the page source for this page. The 'page source' just shows the same info that you see on this page. This is not an issue or concern. All the page source shows is the HTML code for the page you are viewing.

What you see visually is what (x)html makes up. Viewing the source code in your browser reveals those tags. But .. this is not the vBulletin source code and this does not include the private forums. If YOU as ADMIN can view private forums, they will of course also show up in the source code (right click view source I mean). And if YOU as a GUEST can not view those hidden forums you shall not view them.
