Still no joy in Mudville. Wiped out the forum directory and uploaded the files again. Fired up XP and IE, and get the dreaded Cannot find server error message.

Strange thing is, I can go to /forum and get a DB error, which is what I should get right now.

Oh joy. I like being unique, but not when it comes to the testbed! Guess I'll wait for Beta3 and see if that fixes anything.

It was MMCache. Turned it off and the installation flew. Many thanks to Freddie Bingham for finding this.

how did you turn that off? we started seeing these errors occur the last few days as well. We just installed APC this weekend - is there something in that I can tweak maybe that might be causing this?
