Hour Cleanup?

In the scheduled task manager, what is the Hour Cleanup?


And is Auto-Pruning set in default setting? Where old post/threads are pruned at a certain period. If yes, how can we disable that function?

The 'hourly cleanup' does the following things (I'm just reading the comments in the two PHP files):

• Expire old searches
• Expire lost passwords and email confirmations
• Expired cached posts
• Orphaned attachments
• Orphaned `pmtext` records

And as far as I've seen, there's no 'automatic prune' feature. I remember asking about this a while back, and I believe they said it wasn't a feature at this time.

Ok, thanks. Just checking to make sure that auto-pruning is NOT set as default on the board. Seemed like posts/threads were pruning.
