  • Database error 1064

    Since I've been back up for about 24 ours, I've gotten two of the following 1064 errors:

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0 Release Candidate 4:

    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT COUNT(*) AS threads,
    SUM(IF(lastpost>= AND open<>10,1,0)) AS newthread
    FROM thread AS thread
    LEFT JOIN deletionlog AS deletionlog ON(thread.threadid = deletionlog.primaryid AND type = 'thread')
    WHERE forumid = 81
    AND sticky = 0
    AND visible = 1

    AND lastpost >= 991455328

    AND deletionlog.primaryid IS NULL

    mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND open<>10,1,0)) AS newthread
    FROM thread AS thread
    LEFT JOIN deletionlog ' at line 3

    mysql error number: 1064

    Run 'Suspect File Version' in Diagnostics and report back the results.

        Well your files are up-to-date. Try:

        1. Run Repair/Optimize in the Admin CP:

        Admin CP -> Import & Maintenance -> Repair/Optimize Tables -> Check All -> Continue

        If that doesn't fix it, then:

        2. Run 'Find Updated Templates' in the Style Manager and revert any templates it finds.

          I've only gotten a couple of these in the last couple of days, for whatever that's worth.

          As far as item 1 above, it was strange. When I ran it, it never got past somewhere in the "a's". Where it would end was different each time I ran it. I tried running all at once as you suggested and when that didn't work I ran a few, repair only, optimize only - all variations - but, never did all the tables display when it was finished.
