Get Rid of Header, Add Sidetable

How can I get rid of the table header in red, and then add the side table in green? See the attached image to see what I mean.

Any help greatly appreciated.

You can remove the red part by modifying the 'FORUMHOME' template,
find this code

 <tr align="center">
   <td class="thead">&nbsp;</td>
   <td class="thead" width="100%" align="$stylevar[left]">$vbphrase[forum]</td>
   <td class="thead" width="175">$vbphrase[last_post]</td>
   <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td>
   <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td>
   <if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">
   <td class="thead">$vbphrase[moderator]</td>
   </if>
 </tr>

and delete it.


And I think that is the same template you need to modify to add a side table.
(wild guess)
before $forumbits, add:

<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="8">
  <tr align="left" valign="top"> 
	<td height="20">

after $forumbits, add:

</td>
	<td width="222">*sidebar*</td>
  </tr>
</table>

if that doesn't give the desired result, then play around yourself, or check on vbulletintemplates.com

That code was pretty ugly when I implemented it, do you have any other possible ideas, I am going to fool around with it still and see what I can come up with.

You can try asking at vBulletintemplates. there might already be a release there for such a thing/
