  • Outlines of avatars

    Hi all,

    I shall like putting an outline in the avatars so that when that someone views a subject the avatars have an outline !

    I don't know Across the Atlantic and Across the Channel, you calls the images under our user's name an avatar.

    I hope that you can help me. Thank you for everything!

    Good day
    Mystic Matt

    Open your Admin Control Panel.

    Go to Style Manager -> Main CSS.

    In the Additional CSS box at the bottom, put the following code:
    Code:
     .avatar { border: 1px solid black; }
    Then click on Style Manager again, followed by clicking on the "<< >>" button.

    Go to the postbit (postbit_legacy if user info is on the left) template and look for the following code:
    HTML Code:
     <if condition="$show['avatar']"><td class="alt1"><a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]"><img src="$avatarurl" alt="<phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[xs_avatar]</phrase>" border="0" /></a></td></if>
    And change it to:
    HTML Code:
     <if condition="$show['avatar']"><td class="alt1"><a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]"><img src="$avatarurl" alt="<phrase 1="$post[username]" class="avatar">$vbphrase[xs_avatar]</phrase>" border="0" /></a></td></if>

        I have a small problem. I changed well the code to insert class = "avatar". But this is the result :

        Furthermore, the code is not completely the same, here is the one that I have :

        <if condition="$show['avatar']">
        <div class="smallfont"> &nbsp;<br />
        <a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]"><img src="$avatarurl" alt="<phrase 1="$post[username]">$vbphrase[xs_avatar]"
        border="0" /></a> </div>
        </if>

        I hope that you can help me! Thanks !

            Double check your code. It is incorrect somewhere, most likely a missing double quote mark.
