    Which version of vB are you running? Upgrade or fresh install? Run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics and post the results.

      RC4 Upgrade
      I ran it, and the only file that came up was the init.php cause of the fix you guys posted.

        I can't reproduce this problem. Does it happen with all profile fields?

          no, it's always the ones listed in the img.
          I looked up a couple of phrases and they are there, the file is good.

          Also, when you go to add a new field option on the menu and it goes to a diff page first witha dropdown and button, but the dropdown has nothing, but clicking the button still lets me through.

            It sounds like you may be missing some files. I would reupload all the files in ther admincp directory. make sure you upload in ASCII and overwrite the ones on the server.

            If you still have this problem, try this. Reupload the original vbulletin-language.xml file from the zip file to your install directory. Make sure you upload this in ASCII and overwrite the one on the server. Then import this file in the 'Upload' section of Languages and Phrases.

              all files accounted for and uploading the xml didn't change anything

                I found a serious typo during all this tho. At least I think it is

                Line 346 of profilefield.php

                if ($type != 'textara')

                should it not be
                if ($type != 'textarea')

                  well, it seems definetly to be a phrases or array issue.

                  I tried this and the hard coded come up fine
                  print_cp_header($vbphrase['user_profile_field_manager'].' title should be here');

                  Is there some way to output all vars to see if the values are even getting stored?

                    I don't know the answer to your last question, but if you think you've found a bug, then you should post it in the Bug Tracker. (Search for a pre-existing bug report first.)

                      i have the answer to my last question. A handy little script called php_debug
                      will list any vars or arrays in readable format and other stuff.
