The config file is set correctly, i dont have any problems installing 2.3.4 the host meets all server requirements.

I have been trying countlesly for the past 5 hours, even when i run the upgrade script, the first page i get then is the..

I don't really understand why 2.3.4 is ok, i have just recently set that up, and am tryinh to get this latest build up on a test server, then i will go ahead and upgrade, but a fresh install wont work :S
I am hosted by lycos business pack, and they meet all requirements for the new forums.

yes the server is online, i have 7 databases on the server, database 1 is running version 2.3.4 i also, first hand tried to install 3x before 2 with no luck, i got the same errors, so am trying to get it on database 7, then i will move over, so the server is on and working fine

http://forums.thetechaven.com they are 2.3.4 working, note only just installed, and not doing anything to them, me wants version 3

Then the last thing I can say right now:

Make 100% sure the version 3 rc4 files are all there 100% in ascii where they should be and that the info for config.php is correct.

If the same database is used for another forum, and that IS online, and the new install for vb3_ tables tells you it is OFFline .. strange!

This means that either the db info in your config.php file is wrong, or there is a problem with the MySQL server. If you are sure of your info, then you'll need to contact your host.
