How To ENABLE 'Execute SQL Query'?

Two things:

1) Despite being the main admin, I still get 'You are not authorized to execute SQL queries', when trying to use the Execute SQL system.

2) What QUERY should I run (exactly) to default everybodies profile to using the 'StandardControls' instead of the basic option?

The answer to your second question lies in resolving access to the first question

Goto config.php and set yourself up as superadmin and to the variable canrunqueries. Hopefully this will then give you the permissions, otherwise goto the admin permissions section and set yourself up to have every permission.

In config.php there is something along the lines of $canrunqueries. Add you user number to that.
