Build a new master style and load that.

I think the variables etc are changed from beta 5 to rc3.

Goto the Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates > From the drop down list : Add a new style > Parent: None .. and then set that as your default style.

Either the upgrade was incomplete or you did not upload all the RC3 files. Try this. Delete the current vB non-image files, then reupload the RC3 file. Make sure you upload these in ASCII.

          What non-image files?

          • #6
The member area download is a .zip file.
After unpacking this, you have all kinds of files, and they are in directories.
One of these directories are images/
All the other files are none-images files. (like .html, .php, .htc, .js)

            Steve means:

Make sure you have uploaded all the vBulletin version 3.0.0 Release Candidate 3 files to your web server, in ascii (but image files are uploaded otherwise, in bin. mode).

either your upgrade wasn't 100% completed, or during upgrade you had an error.
you are still running some beta5 files on your server, rather then the new rc3 files.

You can view the files on the server and read the vbulletin version number from the header. Make sure they don't read beta5.

Make sure when you upload that you are not resume or skipping files, really: Only overwrite them. The best way to make sure: Delete the beta5 files and upload the rc3 files.

I think you run vBulletin on a windows machine.

Which web server, php server and mysql server versions are you running?

                    • #11

Right click on the broken image and copy the full path, show it to me here so I can recognize what might have gone wrong.

Make sure you have uploaded the image in the right directory.

                          Hi there again,

You gave me your details in a pm, but I am really not the person to debug your site. Besides not having the time.

You are best of asking Steve or any of the other official staff members.
