clock not working right

since upgrading to vb3, my clock always shows what i think is greenwich mean time (regardless, it's way ahead of the real time) and no matter what i do in the admincp with "date and time" it won't fix it.

any ideas? what am i doing wrong?

I have that problem also, but what I did was set it to a time zone that was not the one I'm in and now the time clock on my site is set to the right time.

that worked for me when i had VB2, but now with VB3 it doesn't matter what time zone i set it to, the time on the website will not change.
