You can not always resolve an IP address into a Host address. This is depending on the name server settings of the provider responsible for the IP. (reverse resolve) This happens a lot with hosts that are assigned through virtual hosting or shared hosting, etc. One server has a few ips, and more then 1 web site.

Guests/Members can't see the IP of the whois online page. Only admins. So that link doens't help much.

Anyway, I now better understand what goes wrong, it probably doesn't show because there is nothing in the variable to show the ip. If this only happens for the guests usergroup, then there might be a bug in the .php file, or your .php file is not up to date.

Make sure it is the right one .. so not a RC2 file in a RC3 installation.
You can try by re-uploading the .php file(s) again. And if you have a hack installed, revert back and try again.

You can also try to make a new basic style - and test there, maybe the template(s) aren't right, or maybe the phrase is missing.

Pfff, I hope you figure it out LOL

          Good luck anyway.
