  • Background image in quick reply box?

Does anyone know how to add a background image to the quick reply box?

  • #2
I think you should be asking this over at .org but anyway..
    example: http://infoprosjoint.net/fun/QRview.jpg

    In showthread_quickreply

    Code:
     <textarea name="message" id="qr_message" class="bginput" style="width:600px; background-image: url('images/yourtheme/misc/backgroundimage.gif'); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; height:100px" cols="60" rows="5" tabindex="1"></textarea>
Just add it like that to the textarea tag.

Thanks for the info on how to do this (and I know this is more for vb.org), but I have it up and was just wondering how to make the image "not move" if the person types more then 6 or 7 lines for example. Is that possible? Thanks again.

The MAIN CSS area of your style has that stuff.

I checked it to be sure and I have it in there, but it still moves up after about the 7th line.
