    Hi Guys

    On second thoughts, it may be easier to say what I am trying to achieve.

    I have cerated a sec "smilie" category that I want to be available only to Mods/Admin (these are signature smilies that "belong" to those individuals) is their a way to acieve this either by creating a "permissions" filed or otherwise?

      would require abit of hacking on this end

      and you can do
      <if condition="$show['admincplink']" OR condition="$show['modcplink']">
      Blah
      </if>

      conditionals can be used to do alot but not everything

        Ah! Verbage not symbols

        I will give it a go but it would probabkly be motre effective in the long run to have a permissions I am thinking.

        Many thanks

            Faranth...yippee! Would that tutorial perchance cover the issue I asked about on the other board? Any notion when you might have the tutorial assembled?

            (Yes, I know, I'm being impatient...hehe!)

                Thanks Faranth. I'll be keeping an eye out for it. I have only one remaining issue I haven't been able to figure out yet.

                  Shouldn't that be:
                  Code:
                  <if condition="$show['admincplink'] || $show['modcplink']">
                  Blah
                  </if>
