Please help me with this scenario, I know there must be a link for this... somewhere.

    User registers in forum

User does not receive mail with activation link

where can he request the activation link/number to be resent to him?

On which version do you run?
    The AdminCP clearly says:

Note: you can not send passwords using this form as they are encrypted in the database. Please link to the 'lost password' form instead.

Sorry, but, how does this relate to my question? This has nothing to do with passwords

I need the link to resend the "you need to activate your account" email

I am not quite sure if there is a way for a user to request another activation email, but I think that an admin can resend on to the user from the eidt user screen. It should be one of the options in the "Quick User Links" bar at the top...

But i don't want to do that, the user should be able to request another activation email, otherwise, how are the going to start posting in the forum?

can a moderator answer me, please? Even a "there is no way to do this" would help.

I'm not sure how the user does it, the Admin does it form the backend, selects the user, open the user, drop down menu above the users name, select to send user activation codes, next screen displays the users email addy, real clear so you can check for errors, if it looks right, click send on the bottum, and poof, you are back in your admin panel, but don't be surprized if your main forum is in your window with the ACP panel on the left side, it's just a normal function that has always been there.

How the user does it, I'd only be guessing if I said anything. You can try creating a New user and go explore for yourself, plus see what New Users see when they register. I think it's good to know what New Users Registering are going thru. I make it a habbit to create a New Users Monthly and with every New Upgrade.

After searching... and searching.... the faq was no good, the error screens also weren't I found this link:

              http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/regis...o=requestemail

THERE you request a new activation link to be sent to you. And it was really hard to find, and I have been using vbulletin for a while. No wonder why my users were clueless.
