    I've tried a hard refresh on both vb.com and my site...

    As far as vb.com goes all the dropdowns work EXCEPT "Forum Tools" and "Search this Forum"

    On my site ALL the dropdowns don't work. Like I said, it was working up until a couple days ago -- why all of a sudden would stuff in clientscript be missing? I'll try replacing the stuff in there and reply again, I'm just curious as to how it was working and now it's not.

        This is probably a change in your browser settings or perhaps your firewall. Maybe you are no longer processing javascript. At any rate I'd check your browser settings first.

          This is happening on 4 different machines in 3 different locations, so I find that highly unlikely.

          Machine 1:
          - Linux running Mozilla Firebird 0.7
          - Location 1*
          - All dropdowns on vb.com work EXCEPT "Search this Forum" and "Forum Tools"
          - ZERO dropdowns work on my site

          Machine 1.2
          - VMware instance on above linux box running Windows 2000 Pro and IE 6
          - Location 1*
          - All dropdowns on vb.com work EXCEPT "Search this Forum" and "Forum Tools"
          - ZERO dropdowns work on my site

          Machine 2
          - Macintosh iBook w/ Mac OS X 10.3.2 running Safari 1.1
          - Location 1, 2 & 3*
          - All dropdowns on vb.com work EXCEPT "Search this Forum" and "Forum Tools"
          - ZERO dropdowns work on my site

          Machine 3
          - Windows XP Professional with IE 6
          - Location 2
          - All dropdowns on vb.com work EXCEPT "Search this Forum" and "Forum Tools"
          - ZERO dropdowns work on my site

          Machine 4
          - Windows XP Home running IE 6
          - Location 3*
          - All dropdowns on vb.com work EXCEPT "Search this Forum" and "Forum Tools"
          - ZERO dropdowns work on my site

            I can't recreate this problem on this board. However I can recreate it on the original poster's board.

                I have the same problem.

                All drop down menus work here on this board except "Forum Tools", which instead takes me to the Forum Tools located at the bottom of the page. (see attached image). And "Search This Forum", which doesn't take me down to the Search box at the bottom to the page but rather seem to have an anchor at the link itself.

                I do not have this problem at my local test board on my computer at home.

                  all vb sister sites appear fine along with any other gamma sites I visited today, just vb.com and the original poster's site are affected by this bug on forumdisplay.php from my home. From any pc, regardless of browser or OS.

                    Ok, I've replaced all the files in /clientexec, I've cleared my cache on all my test machines, I've checked the templates and options, and the problem still exists on my board.

                    The problem appears to have fixed itself on vb.com, though ... at least on my Mac w/ Safari 1.1

                    Any ideas on how I can fix this weird bug? Should I submit a bug report for it?

                        The solution you listed doesn't seem to apply to my forums... In the FORUMDISPLAY template I do not see the conditional you say to remove. The closest thing i see is:

                        PHP Code:
                        <if condition="$vboptions['usepopups']"

                          In that case I'll need an admin login to your forums to try to diagnose the problem.

                              Found the problem.

                              In your footer template, you are missing a closing </script> tag.

                              Find this code:
                              HTML Code:
                              <script type="text/javascript">
                              <!--
                               // Main vBulletin Javascript Initialization
                               vBulletin_init();
                              //-->
                              and replace it with this:
                              HTML Code:
                              <script type="text/javascript">
                              <!--
                               // Main vBulletin Javascript Initialization
                               vBulletin_init();
                              //-->
                              </script>
