        Because I have many more smilies than default, I have the 'more' link that opens a secondary smilie box to see the rest of the smilies available for use.

        How can the default size of that pop-up box be changed. I don't mind having to scroll up and down, but I can't stand side to side scrolling.

          How do you change the size of the box when you do a reply as mine is massive at the moment!

                  In the template named editor_clientscript search for the following snippet of code:

                  Code:
                  var smiliewindow_x = 240;
                  var smiliewindow_y = 280;
                  Change it to read:

                  Code:
                  var smiliewindow_x = 380
                  var smiliewindow_y = 400;
                  After you save the template with these changes, you may need to do a hard refresh of a screen with the WYSIWYG editor open in order to reload these parameters from your forums rather than from your browser cache. Just create a new thread and once the editor is loaded, do a CTRL+F5 within MSIE and it will do reload the code completely.

                  Now when you click the [More] smilies button, it should open in a larger window.

                        so would each user have to do this?

                          Not necessarily. It's just a safety net to head off people who might complain and say that the template changes didn't have any effect on their forum.

                            On a semi-related question... I can't seem to find the correct location in the code to have the smilie box close when they click one, instead of it just getting sent to the background. Any help?
